We Have a New Queen 
I feel it is only right that I officially announce that, sharing my throne (OK, I won't make too many royalty gags) as of now: Joni #24.
Joni has been in the quilting bee for as long as I can remember. Even prior to me becoming Queen, I remember Joni as being one of the most helpful, friendly bees I'd ever spoken to. She didn't even complain when, after trading, it took me about 6 months to reply to her emails! ;)
Joni has been fantastic heading up the Pixel Team since prior to the departure of Charlotte (who some of you may remember as my other Queen) - she organises the bees that make the beautiful patches we have for activities and the birthday patches you all get every year, as well as contributing her own skills. On top of that, Joni pulled together the effort of the dailybee staff members to get it re-launched in August... a project I hope we can continue to work on and improve as we go along.
Her dedication to the club is inspiring, and I hope that in appointing Joni to this position I can reward her for the work she's done, and she can help me reward you guys for being a part of our lovely club.
