Q*Bee Trade Amnesty
Due to recent health issues, your queen - that's me - has been unable to fulfil normal duties such as chasing up trades and granting hiatus requests. Unfortunately, this means that some members who've been neglecting their quilts have been getting away with ignoring their responsibilities while the best behaved members continue to trade and chat.
To try and give everyone a chance to catch up after what seems to have been a dramatically short summer and a hectic year for studies and work, I'm implementing a trade amnesty to 'forgive' bees who've been unable to trade at various points this year.
If you have not traded since 2007 - and that's a long time, so I hope that's none of you - you must trade at least twice before November 30th, or you will be deleted on December 1st. No additional warnings will be sent to bees, so if you have not traded since 2007, consider this your last warning.
If you have not traded since before April 2008 - you must trade at least twice before November 30th. If you fail to make two trades this month, you will be sent a final warning on December 1st. If you ignore this warning and do not make two trades in the first week of December, you will be deleted on December 10th.
If you have not traded since before August 2008 - you must trade at least twice before November 30th. If you fail to make two trades this month, you will be sent a warning on December 1st. If you ignore this warning and do not make two trades in the first two weeks of December, you will be deleted on December 20th.
Those bees who have traded since August 2008 will be held to the normal one warning + one final notice system and given due time to fix their quilts as a thank you for continuing to trade.
Bees who have request a hiatus will be processed as such, but will be expected to make two trades within one month of returning from hiatus. Bees that wish to leave are asked to please e-mail mail@theqbee.net or use the form in the members area.
Worker bees will be asked not to check your quilts until the very end of this month, to give you every opportunity to fix and trade, and to get yourself back on track and ready for the festive season that is fast approaching us.
Good luck, and happy trading :)

That's very generous of you, Jem. I do so hope people will get back into the swing of trading... it's so fun!

Yes, trade. I don't want to have to tell Jem to delete you! So Bees #61 - #80 trade! Please don't make me put a delete in my report. I hate it when I see delete. It makes me want to cry.

I like this idea in principle, but I think it might have been a good idea to email people with this information. I didn't know anything about it until I got my warning email which has left me with not much time to get trades in during this busy time of the year :/
